Wanted to do the tour but the queues were just ridiculous and VERY slow moving every time we went! However, it is an iconic building of which the architecture can be enjoyed from outside as can the gardens.

Stunning, worth seeing on cloudy days too. Fantastic rooms, looks like new. Well worth a visit. It is also very big, so plan for a longer stay.

I didn't set out to visit the palace, but was merely going for a walk... nonetheless, the Palace seemed to pull me in and it was well worth a couple hours on a cloudy day before Semana Santa kicked off proper. I think the sheer scale and opulence makes it unique and worth a visit. No line when I was there, so that helped the experience as well.

Every room was different - beautifully laid out. Showing a bit of tiredness in the carpets, but nevertheless great. The armoury was good too.
