There was really not extraordinary about this one. It just has lots of statues and stained glass like all the others.

This church is beautiful. We had to wait in line to get our tickets. Cathedral of Barcelona which is a great example of Catalan Gothic architecture. It was started in 1298 and completed in 1450. Eulalia is the patron saint of the church. She was a 13 year old Roman Christian virgin who suffered martyrdom in Barcelona during the persecution of the Christians. She would not denounce Christianity so was tortured 13 times because of her age. It was believed thirteen doves left her body when she died. Today there are 13 geese living at the church. The crypt of Saint Eulalia is in the church. You can take the elevator up to the roof to get a great view of Barcelona.

Only a small entrance fee. Views from the roof are worth the entrance fee alone. Choir stalls are exquisite. Some happy geese outside in the gardens too. Good to do if raining.
