Owner description: Park Guell is one of the masterpieces of the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi, who projected it in 1900. Inaugurated as a public park in 1926, it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, reconizing its patrimonial and cultural value as a symbol of modern architecture, being one of the biggest exponents of Gaudi's modernism. This playful urban park, the work of architect Antoni Gaudi, features peaceful greens, winding paths and many sculptures and mosaics designed by Gaudi himself. We recommend the following options for ensuring that you arrive on time at the Park Guell Monument Precinct: - Metro (green line, get off at Lesseps or Vallcarca). When you leave the station, you’ll have a walk of about 20-25 minutes. - City bus (lines H6 and 32). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 15 minutes. - City bus (lines 92 and 24). When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 5 minutes. - Barcelona City Tour and Bus Turistic. When you get off the bus, you’ll have a walk of about 10 minutes. - Taxi to Park Guell

You can stroll for free around the gardens or elect to pay a small sum to visit the monument area designed for bigger things that never materialised. The ergonomic seating is incredible

We were sooooooo disappointed because heading there with the Hop-on Hopp-off bus, plus 15 min walking up hill, you are in front of closed doors!!

No access without pre-booking!
You need to book in advance your entrance!
So no more spontanous visit of the parc.

You can walk around but you will not see any of the beautiful creations of Gaudì.

No, we were sooooooooo disappointed!!!

Thanks a lot!!

Thank Stephiii

Take up the use of the free entry into the park. Currently the best bits are under refurbishment but you still get charged and don’t have the full access. Take your time to walk up and enjoy the views of the city once you’ve there. Interesting and novel and great place to sit, have a picnic and chill. Remember it does get busy but you can always find a place of peace hidden away in the gardens

Must Do - pre book your entrance tickets as can get sold out - we used our hop on hop off bus and walked 5 blocks to corner of Subway, then right turn UP very steep hill to reach our “walking tour guide” - the first part of the tour was in the free section of the Park and everything is Amazing - the ticket part is for limited entrance (under construction) for the stunning architectural seats and views of Barcelona

After walkaing tour and entrance to the seated area was a over - you a can stay in the Park for as long as you want too

If you have mobility difficulties-wheelchair-stroller you know your own limitations - as there are various a levels to go too using wide steps

Toilet facilities free and located at the Cafe (near to the paid entrance-exit gates)

One of the nicer places I visited. A unique place. Beautiful art. I spent a nice day there. I certainly will not forget the view of beautiful sculptures.
