We booked this trip the day before we went, paying €50 upfront for the two of us. Arrived 15 minutes before departure and sat at the front of the boat with about 12 others and then around the same at the back.
I was a bit naive in thinking it would be a lovely smooth trip as the sea looked so calm…it was a little ropey on the way out but to be fair it was probably more in my head as the guide gave a little safety talk about seasickness and how 1 in 3 of us would suffer!! I spent the whole 45 minute journey out to find the whales focussed on one little boat way out in the distance to distract myself, but when we found the whales all was forgotten.
The boat got close up to them and they would swim alongside the boat. You could see them under the water then come up for air. It was amazing to see and a beautiful view of the coastline.
I would say we were whale spotting for about 25 mins then returned back to the shore. On the way back the guide gave a talk about the whales, which I would have rather heard on the way out so it would distract you from seasickness and also so you knew what you were looking at. Also they played some great music on the way back which again I would have preferred on the way out, made it seem a more relaxed, enjoyable vibe whereas I felt everyone was a bit tense on the way out!!
Overall a great trip and would definitely recommend. Thank you guys 🙂

Very small boat. No nets for sunbathing, just seating. Have to wear masks the whole time and no smoking or vaping. Also, we booked the 3 hour trip and only went out for 2.5 hours.

First of all we was told there's a maximum of 11 people, but that wasn't the case, lots more, then we asked for a life jacket, the guy just threw it at us,
Nice to see the whale's 🐋 but staff not very helpful

How to rate a company for a boat trip; we never made in the end.

With 3 families we decided to do a boat trip near Costa Adeje. Via a local travel agent we made the reservation for a 3 hrs boat trip with the Eden Catamaran. A first payment was done of +~ 33%. We agreed to pay the remainder during onboarding. So far, so good.

With the 15 of us (9. Children, 6 adults) we went to the pier, and I onboarded first. Before the rest of the companionship could enter too, I was summonded to leave the boat immediately. Hmm. What is going on.

Apparently the trip was not paid full.
And that was correct, because we agreed so !!

The boat owner demanded us in a very unfriendly way to go the begin of the pier. And asked why we did go to the boat already. Than he demanded us to pay the trip now…
We tried to explain we had a voucher, and that the remainder would be paid now. He waived away our voucher, did not even want to look at it, And again said we should move to the begin of the pier now.

Somehow we convinced the crew to call our agent.
Our agent was on spot within a few minutes, And in a calm way started to talk to the owner We could not understand the talking.

Suddenly the owner pushed the agent aggressively and made a move to punch. Which he did not do in the end.

All in front of the group, including kids. They were horified. We parents were flabbergasted, shocked.

It was clear, no boat trip for us. Not on this boat. Not even for free. Never ever

I’m sure the crew/ boardowner will come with some stupid explanation, blaming everybody but him.

Whatever...

We booked another boat. Bigger, cheaper ... and it was fun.

And our advice to you. Avoid this boat if you want to have a nice holiday experience.
Even it f would take some extra bucks. It is worth every penny.

1.This group bought a ticket from a dubious agent who issued them an overpriced ticket with the logo of our company
2. The senior of the group, before leaving, refused to pay the full amount for the charter to the captain of the vessel and showed us a fake ticket with our requisites.
3. A trusted agent of this group who arrived refused to pay us government tax on the sale of the charter.
4. A group of 20 people entered the pier, to which they are not allowed to enter without our permission.
We regard the actions of this group and their dubious sales agent as fraudulent and ask everyone in the future, when purchasing tickets from various agents, to check their buying actions.
We advise this group to write a review on the firm of the agent who sold them the fake ticket, and not on the ship, which has done nothing wrong to them.
