Very good value for money and it was just next door to our hotel. Not over priced at all and our server was very knowledgable and explained the different steaks on offer.

Just ate at the Block House, could not fault it, the food was excellent, the staff were spot on and would highly recommend for a great value meal. ate at Sandro's the night before which was superb, a different experience and three times the price, but both were worthy of five stars.

It is a popular restaurant so I Wold recommend to book a table if you are going to have dinner here. This is a Place where you eat meat, even if they serve also salmon. The meat is of top quality. For dessert we shared icecream With chocolate sauce, and it was more than enough for us because the portion was really generous. The service is a bit slow, but very friendly and hardworking (too few waiters for so many tables!)

Was a few doors away from our Hotel so convenient. It had decent reviews here so decided to give it a go. Selection was adequate but may be a little pricey but thought quantity and quality might go hand in hand. We both were pleased with the quality of our steaks but I would've liked to have seen a bit more on our plate considering the cost, two small pieces of steak with a jacket potato didn't 'fill' me.
We decided to go back and give them the benefit of the doubt a few nights later but treat ourselves to something a bit more expensive. I'm afraid it didn't live up to our expectations considering we paid between 22/24euros each.
Overall a bit disappointed considering price we paid.
If you've a 'BIG' appetite walk past and go elsewhere

We had burgers,ribs and steaks all of which were very good.The restaurant is fairly plain in decor but for a Monday night it was full mainly with locals.The drinks were also reasonably priced.
The service was ok even though there seemed to be one chef and one waiter in the place.
Enjoyable evening,once food for reasonable price
