Booked the two bedroom apartment on Booking.com for three nights last week. We paid €156 for the Wednesday night which is the most I would realistically pay without feeling completely overcharged. However, on the Thursday and Friday night, we were charged €313 per night. I cannot find on any site where the same accommodation in this hotel is the same or a similar price. On the Thursday and Friday night of this week the same accommodation is on Booking.com is £136 and £143 respectively, I sent screenshots to Booking.com. I naively assumed that an error had been made and that the overcharging would be resolved swiftly by Booking.com. This was not the case! I have sent numerous e-mails to Booking.com but with no resolution! There was no event on in Bilbao that would cause such an extortionate price hike.
How in this day and age, can these companies overcharge by double the amount and assume this is responsible and ethical business practice?
The hotel itself was very disappointing. There was an unpleasant smell in the corridors which I assume was coming from the kitchens.
The main light needed to be on throughout the day as the apartment was so dark. The light fitting was crooked and although it contained numerous light bulbs only two were working.
The fridge and kitchen drawers were not clean.
You could hear people in the surrounding rooms during the day, and night! I can only assume that this old building contains little in the way of soundproofing.
My daughter placed her elbows on the glass top table piece during breakfast. The whole glass section tipped up as it was not fixed down. It could have been a very nasty accident! I would question the health and safety aspects of the hotel as a result.
I have stayed in numerous hotels and apartments around the world over 20 years. This is the first time I have felt compelled to write a negative review!
Please be wary of being overcharged by Booking.com, I will never use this company again.
I would definitely recommend visiting Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum, but select your accommodation carefully.

Ok so we did not have amazing views but this is a great city break self catering apartment. We were at the rear of the building and it was very quiet. The apartments had been refurbished but curtains and light fittings were tired. Beds were very comfy and were Ikea kings. Second bedroom more of a single with double bed. Kitchen of good standard but very limited dishes and glasses. We bought additional glasses from mucho muy just down the street. You should pack a tea towel, a tin opener, dish washer tablets, sponge or dish cloth and travel kettle. There is only an old nespresso machine. Towels are great and there is a maid service each morning to take out rubbish and do linen. Apartment was very clean Air con is good. Spa shower does its job and is a bit of a novelty. Bathroom has external window so no noisy fan. Location is ideal only 5 mins walk from airport bus stop and 15 mins stroll from main attractions. Supermarkets on same street - we used BM. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Wifi is free and we watched movies on our iPad no problem. We could have hooked up to the Sony tv le264r if we had brought a lead. This was our first time in Bilbao and it was an ideal base. We would book again.

Very nice apart-hotel at center of Bilbao. Very good for your extended stay. You can get spacious room with kitchen to make your extended stay comfortable. It is near "Plaza Moyua" from where you can get buses and metro train. Staff is very friendly. It has one restaurant also.

The aparthotel is central in the City of Bilbao. Shops and restaurants are close to the apartment and a short walk to the highlights of Bilbao (Guggenheim, Museo de Bellas Artes, the river and the old town). The apartment was very clean, a good size, renovated and painted. I can absolutely recommend this aparthotel.
Only a pity that the windows are relatively small with the view of the neighbouring house walls.

I stayed here for two nights with my partner and baby. During our trip we stayed in several aparthotels and apartments in various cities in Spain. This was by far the worst.

The location was good, close to the commercial/shopping district and a short walk to the river, old town and Guggenheim. Parking is in an underground car park beneath the hotel. We reserved a place. It is expensive but no more so than finding a public car park or in other cities.

Our room was on the sixth floor. Very little natural light, not allowed to open the small windows there were. It got incredibly hot so we needed the air con on even in October. Sofa, TVs and dining table for four in the lounge. Kitchen has a 4 ring hob, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Tiny clothes airer in the bathroom so drying clothes nearly impossible. Nespresso coffee machine but unlike other places we stayed they didn't give you a few pods to get you started. Kitchen had sufficient crockery. Wine glasses were huge like the comedy bottle in a glass ones. A few pots and pans but only one tiny wooden spoon and a small blunt knife. No other utensils. We made a salad and had to serve it from a saucepan.

Unfortunately the room and hotel as a whole are in need of updating. The furniture and fittings are old fashioned but more importantly they are very worn and marked. Covers on chairs threadbare. Walls all scuffed and marked. Carpet stained. Sheet covering mattress very thin. Toilet roll hangs onto dirty toilet brush.

This place would be just about ok if you were out all day and just returning to sleep but most people stay in apartments because that isn't the case eg they have young children. Unfortunately the room was too depressing to be in especially being so dark with little natural light or air. Didn't feel like being on holiday. Maybe the rooms on other floors are better.

Poor value for money compared to the other places we stayed. I couldn't recommend this aparthotel. In a city as wonderful and modern this place was just depressing.
