“Average park, lack of signposts”

Parque Grande Jose Antonio Labordeta

Very big but average park. Suffers from a complete lack of signposting. Hard to tell where you are and where to go. Some small places to eat a bite, big fountains, many playgrounds and bike rental available.

My mom and I spent a few hours in the park.
It's very nice and well maintained.
Some very impressive fountains and sculptures.
The main problem is parking and signs.

We were looking for a bathroom for almost 30 min.
We wanted to rent the bicycle but couldn't find it.
Parking is a big problem.

I guess if you are local it's easier but this is NOT a tourist friendly park.

Shame since it's beautiful.

This Park is absolutely amazing what more can you want from it? You can hire go carts, little four wheel pedal carts to hold 4-6 people, you can have a quiet picnic, have a look around the gorgeous plants and art work around the park and to top it all off an amazing water display on 3-4 levels where you can have a breathtaking look across the park when you reach the top. There is no better place to go. It is a little out of the way but it is definitely worth it and is only a cheap bus or taxi away.

This is a great park to take a walk and promenade among it's trees and to enjoy a refreshing drink and one of its multiple establishments. You also can visit the ethnologic museum, into the park, the botanic garden or climb upstairs to the King Alfonso I ,el Batallador (the battler) statue who conquer the city in 1118.
