Él asturiano is one of my favourite places to go out and have tapas in Granada. It is fantastic value for both tapas and a sit down meal. They offer traditional food from Asturias and if you haven't tried that this is the place to go in Granada. Highly recommended

As tourists we had the great luck to have been brought to this restaurant by 2 friends from Granada. The menu was small but very well thought out. The food was rustic presenting a clearly authentic sampling of foods from this northern part of the peninsula. We especially enjoyed the large beans cooked in a rich broth with smoked meats and sausage. The cheese plate was very distinctive full of unusual savory tastes including walnuts, dried beets and membrillo.

A dreadful disappointment. Very basic food, small portions but not small prices. It claims to have good Asturias food. The Fabada was simple and had some taste but there was not enough to feed a child and it cost 7 euros.
The escalope was very thin, dry and tasteless and cost 14 euros! And I was sick the next day...
This is not a restaurant - contrary to the information provided - just 2 or 3 small tables in a small bar.
AVOID IT!
We left hungry and very dissatisfied and one of us was sick the next day

A great chance to try some unusual dishes from the north of Spain. The service was fantastic - The manager is clearly passionate about the food of her hometown and we learnt a lot. We loved the steak and the three way fries as well as the chorizo in cider and the cabrales cheese and quince. Highly recommend!

We visited this place twice on our trip to Granada and it became one of the highlights. The owner/manager is immensely helpful and enthusiastic in guiding visitors through the menu and expert wine list. The croquets, cheese and corn pancakes are particularly delicious. Would happily visit again when next in Granada.
