We stayed here over the New Year period for a week in room 209. Although the hotel isn't 4* by UK standards the room was very comfortable and clean, with a large comfy bed. One down-side to the bed was the terrible pillows (a common theme in a number of hotels we've stayed in). Other than that, it was good. We overlooked the square and had no problems with exterior noise. There's plenty of hanging space (though not much drawer space) and a safe and refrigerator. The bathroom was large with a decent shower. We experience a few bad smells coming from the drains (food smells from lower floors) on a couple of occasions.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast (on the one occasion we took it) was plentiful and a good selection of items.More
