Excellent.  Location, service, room, breakfast.  Brief frisson of fear as we checked in when the phrase 'attic room' was used but turns out this meant we had the only (large, comfortable, well-appointed) room on the fifth floor.

Room tip.  Ask for 501.

We stayed for 3 nights in a de luxe room on the corner overlooking the plaza.The room was clean,with a comfortable bed ,fierce air conditioning, which took us a while to master, effective WIFI, a large bathroom with a very good shower .The room was quiet and the only noise from the plaza were the birds in the trees.The only suggestion I would make for improvement is that there was very limited space for hanging up clothes and too short to hang up a dress.
The breakfast provided a good choice of hot and cold items with some interesting local items which changed daily.
Service was friendly and helpful at all times.For example we had tried unsuccessfully for about 3 months to buy a 3 hour skip the line guided tour of the Alhambra with entry to all the palaces with an Official Guide in english with pick up and drop off. The tickets were arranged exactly as requested and were waiting for us on arrival which removed all our worries.
The hotel is an excellent location and everything was within easy walking distance eg shops,The Alcaiceria market, restaurants,the Cathedral, The Royal Chapel, Manasterio de San Jeronimo and Mirador San Nicholas.
We would certainly here stay again

We stayed here for two nights, and had a very nice stay. Rooms were nice, and they had an excellent breakfast. A highlight was bulk laundry service - fill up a bag for a fixed price, and everything returned neatly folded. Staff was very helpful. Only negative - funky elevator controls that are overly sophisticated in design, but don't work so well. Otherwise, a very satisfactory stay.
