It is a stone's throw from the station; you can see it from the train as it pulls into the station. Walk across the square, get rid of your luggage and it is a pleasant 20 minute stroll into the historic centre. The hotel is well decorated and clean, staff were very friendly. Our floor, including our bedroom, was decorated with prints by the American artist Lyonel Feininger. We ate in the restaurant on one evening and the food was very good and good value for money; the buffet was limited but some tasty options. Two minor nags was the slow wi-fi and no English language TV channels.

The hotel is located across from the railway station. Rooms are nice and offer enough space. Bathroom has a walk-in shower, which I prefer over standing in a bathtub to take a shower. Only issue with the room I had is that it was too warm and even opening the window all night did not help.
The hotel has its own parking garage and space for which you pay 10 euro a night. It would have been a good idea though to have been told on checking in that you need a token to be able to drive out of the garage/parking lot. And not just once, but every time you leave you need to get a new one. I would suggest to the hotel that they use the keycards from the rooms for that!

Coming out of the train station and crossing a park we found the Hotel Kaiserin Augusta. It's a very nice hotel, friendly staff and.... we had a very quiet room on the south side. The breakfast is perfect and the city is worthwhile to walk.

Room tip: Ask not for the front because that is the side of the station and maybe sometimes noisy

Great, clean, quiet hotel. A few minutes walk from the old town centre. €10 a day to park your car (if they have room). Opposite the station. Breakfast optional at an extra (pricy), €11..
If you need a decent WiFi connection, forget it. Less than 1mbps does not cut it! You might be able to access your emails (with no or very small attachments), but that's it.
It really can't be that hard to supply a reasonable download speed in this day and age. This was a big minus for me and very disappointing.
Other than that a good hotel in a really nice city.

This hotel is one a fairly quiet square and directly opposite the station, about a leisurely 10-15 minute walk from the centre of Weimar. Well appointed rooms, good service, a great breakfast, a restaurant with a terrace over looking the square, and a pleasant lobby near the bar. Highly recommended.
