This is a well run family hotel about 4km south of Münster centre. The 6 and 8 buses go to within 500-600 metres but a cab is best if you do not have your own transport.
The room was well appointed in the traditional German style. I had lunch, dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The food was well cooked and good value. The maitre d' speaks excellent English. In all, a very decent unpretentious place.

You need a car or take a taxicab, no busstop nearby.
Rooms are clean, the large double bed has twin mattrasses, duvets, there is a minibar, free Wifi, more than enough room for two.
A quite OK breakfast is included, free parking on the premises.
Haven't tried the very busy restaurant, menu not appealing.
Unfortunately in spite of notices not to smoke in front of the entrance people still do so at night, noisy and the unwelcome smell of cigarettes in the non smoking room above the entrance.
Quite good value for money for a week-end.

Spent a night and slept very well! Not a luxury place, but a clean, neat and quiet place to rest. Arrived by night, close to 11pm, and unfortunately the restaurant kitchen was closed. Nevertheless, the kind waiter prepared us some breads with butter and a couple of draft beer balloons!

We booked this hotel as a road trip stop and what a gem it turned out to be. Neat, clean rooms which were pretty standard but the the outdoor eating area was a welcome respite after a long drive. Large shady lawn with plenty of tables to enjoy a child beer or a hit meal. Good breakfast included in the price. Quite and serene - great end of the day relaxation spot.

First impression is of a very friendly hotel with excellent helpfull staff. The property is located in a quiet semi rural location about 10 minutes from the city centre. Plenty of parking for those on business and a good location for peace and quiet. Bedroom was typically very clean and the food is of a high standard.

Room Tip: Many room in the annex have balconies
