Really amazing food and tasteful wine. Nice place to spend some time. We had some different plates with tasteful food.

Was invited for lunch at Ghoban by a friend and business associate... I was blown away. Ghorban keeps it casual, but gives prompt and good service backed by absolutely incredible delicatessen style food. I will be sure to never miss this restaurant when in Aachen and would go so far as to say that it should be a destination restaurant if you are planning on visiting a city nearby.

Ghorban was absolutely perfect in every way.

Appetisers are a delicatessen, coffee is fabulous and the staff is so dedicated. Noticed that they have own branded delicacies. Haven't tried them though.

I stayed in Aachen for a weekend and my friends showed me this lovely bistro next to the old cathedral. The service was fluent in english and very polite. The Antipasti plate I ate was the best food I had so far this year! Outstanding ham, cheese and olives! Will definitely recommend to all my friends if they ever visit this beautiful town!

Before or after you visit the exquisite Cathedral and shop for the spicy-sweet Aachen Printen, have a lunch or snack in Ghorban.

Choose from a glorious array of cheeses, salamis, hams and stunning antipasti and the server will fill your plate and charge you by weight. Incredibly good value especially as the ingredients are so fine, Wash it down with a glass of italian wine or a prosecco flavoured with quince gin,

Finish with an italian-quality espresso and the home-made amarettini - melt in the mouth soft amarettis.

An absolute find. This and cathedral make a perfect combination and should draw pilgrims back to aachen for god or mammon.
