This modern hotel is well located about 5 minutes walk from the "Zoo" S and U Bahn station. I stayed here for two nights in executive room 608 on the top floor. The bed was firm but comfortable, with good pillows, and the shower was very good, but the only place to hang towels to dry for re-use is two hooks, and one hook is over the wash basin, with not enough space for a bath towel - it really needs a rail on the wall. The room was also equipped with a table & one chair by the window (but no power socket), a Bosch Tassimo coffee maker, and a small 32" (81cm) TV on the wall, which had a poor (non-digital) picture, and only CNN in English language (there was no signal for BBC World on channel 10). There was a small fridge, which served as a minibar - a nice feature of the executive room was all the drinks in the minibar were free. The room had a balcony, with a view to the north-east, so no sun, and there is no view across the city because there is a taller office building across the street. The room had a very nice modern design, but this particular room 608 is a triangular shape, so the bed is at an angle, and there is a very small space between the end of the bed and the steps up to the balcony - it woud be very easy to stub your toe on the edge of the step in the middle of the night. Also due to the strange position of the bed, the right side is very close to the air conditioning vent, so I was sleeping in a cold draught - I had to turn off the a/c overnight. The curtain across the left window not wide enough to cover it. The breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of bread, cold meat & cheese, fruit, cereal, yogurt, pastries and juice. Hot food and coffee must be ordered from your table - I had a strange experience on the first morning - the server did not ask me if I wanted coffee, and I expected it to be provided, because I had been asked for my breakfast drink perference at check-in. The breakfast service is inconsistent, and it looks un-professional to ask the guest for information at check-in, and then not to use it!

Room Tip: Executive rooms have a small free minibar; Avoid room 608; Don't expect a nice view from the balcony

The rooms was quite small but more than enough. The decor and facilities were all good. Even a gym! The ac was needed and welcome. Location great for s and u bahn at the zoological gardens. Good breakfast and bar, with food later in the day being delivered from a good italian take away!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Rooms are minimalist modern decorated.
Room was very small even for Europe standards, and bath barn door doesn't provide much privacy; But the idea of being in Europe is to spend time on the City!
We paid an additional 19 Euros per person and tried the amazing breakfast they serve in their bar. Expensive for a breakfast, but highly recommended to start the day with a lot of variety meals.
There are no ramps to get into the hotel, so I guess elderly or handicapped persons will have difficulty staying here. Even (my wife) heavy and bulky luggage is not easy to move in.
Location is good with plenty of transportation around and close to most attractions.
Overall impression was good indeed and would recommend to stay here.

I stayed here for four days. The name “Ku’damm” is fairly appropriate, because the Kurfürstendamm is not very far away, but on the opposite side of the tracks: “Bahnhof Zoo” would be more accurate.
The entrance (photo) appeared not to allow for guests with heavy luggage or disabilities. Very close to the Reception were two lifts (very helpful), but the second, smaller lift on the left is not indicated and can easily be missed on arrival. How about a sign with an arrow? No key card required to operate the lifts – a blessing for guests with a lot of luggage or shopping.
The staff were helpful and friendly.
The choice of a welcome drink or extra points was offered on arrival. There was a €5.00 coupon (one per stay) if before 02:00 the guest declined room cleaning the following day: good idea
I found the hotel to be quiet, but that may have been partly because my room was on the top floor. The area is OK, but the hotel is on a fairly busy road.
My room (605 - photo) was comfortable and spacious (Gold Elite Rewards?) with a balcony (photos). The shower room (photo) was very spacious; there was plenty of hot water fast. There was a night light, but the switch was by the bed, very low down, with no label. The hair dryer was very powerful but not visible immediately, in a drawer in the shower room. The powerpoints were well placed for its use.
There was a fairly big desk for a computer (photo), with two power points, very convenient. The desk chair could not be moved very far backwards because of steps to the balcony. Internet access was free, easy and reliable. When the key card was removed from the power socket, the lights went off but not the powerpoints, so no need to turn off your computer when leaving the room for a short time.
The lighting was better than in most hotel rooms. When I pointed out (photos) that one of the curtains was stuck, so that it was difficult to open the balcony door and light came in at night, this was rapidly fixed. In the wardrobe were real, normal clothes hangers, not the anti-theft kind, which are difficult to manipulate. There were also a bathrobe and a pair of slippers: very helpful. There was no place to store luggage.
The clock was on the far side of the bed, completely hidden by a mountain of pillows – are guests really so fussy about the kind of pillow they sleep on? The air conditioning worked well and was easy to operate.
There was an exceptionally wide range of drinks for the hot drink machine: coffee and decaffeinated coffee, tea, fruit tea and hot chocolate. After I reported that the machine did not work, it was replaced.
There was a very extensive, printed “Indiguide” – a pleasant change from accessing the information through the TV. It included a TV guide,– with nearly 40 channels, including English- and French-language TV and some radio stations; it was completely accurate, but BBC World was unavailable the one time I tried.

Room Tip: The sixth floor has better views and is quieter.

the location is ok.
the room is very small even i got an accessible room it was too small and the bed is in the corner of the room, attached to 2 walls. my very small scooter block any movement in the room.
the main entrance is with steps so you need to call by phone (the ring doesnt work) to the reception and ask someone to open door through the service area.
staff are nice and try to help.
Breakfast was great too but too many flies around the buffet
