Walking through the dome was such a cool experience. There are audioguides available that tell you history of different locations as you walk up and down the ramps. The mirrors inside the dome are beautiful during the day. There is a restaurant at the top of the building that has amazing views but you must eat there to enter.

Excellent tour of Reichstag dome. Free of charge although you do need to book online in advance (quick and easy process).

Audioguide tour (no charge) really informative and spectacular views from the dome across Berlin. Highly recommended.

Pre book people. Glad we did. Whilst security was tight I’m glad we did it. It was easier to get to Germany than to get in the German parliament!
A truly educated and engaging guide gave a 45 minute lecture. Taking questions as they arose.
The visit concluded with a visit to the glass dome. Accompanied by an informative free audio guide. Highly recommended and probably the best three hours in Berlin for us

We were only able to get tickets to view the dome at 9.30pm but it was well worth going. The audio guide and displays were interesting and the views were excellent.

A must activity if you're visiting Berlin. Don't forget to book in advance on the website otherwise you will find yourself in a long queue outside with little prospect of getting a ticket the same day.
You also need ID and security is tight (airport style) when you go through the building.

The views from the Dome are amazing - try to go on a clear day. You can see for miles. Inside the dome you get a little earpiece and information tape that talks to you as you walk around at different points. Very informative and really interesting. There are also pictures inside from the past 100 or so years which (as a history teacher) I found fascinating! Definitely worth a visit regardless of whether you are looking for history or views. Guides and information books are also available for free!
