Located in Pankow area this palace has interesting history and a good collection. The Palace is surrounded by a huge garden. The entry fee is 6 Euros. An audio guide is inclusive in that. However found the staff in the rooms during the tour to be impolite and uninterested

This Schloss was used in the GDR as a State Guesthouse and has a very interesting Guest List. There is an entrance charge and you may only visit with aid of a guide. Unfortunately the tour is delivered entirely in German. Some of the story boards contain English but a 1 hour tour is very long when you don't understand the language. It is worth a visit as the palace has a very interesting history. It is readily accessible via public transport and the surrounding park is very nice.

Having visited the place in winter, I'd recommend going there during opening times of the villa, as in winter is only open on specific days of the week. The gardens were quite dull (maybe because of the season) and the villa was closed). The place can be a bit difficult to reach because of its location. It is in a quiet residential area, with almost no cafes or shops in the vicinity.
