When the waiter was taking our order, my partner pointed to a non-alcoholic beer that was on a page on the menu listing solely non-alcoholic beers and asked for the one he was pointing to. When our drinks came over, we noticed that the waiter had given us the wrong beer, as he had given us an alcoholic beer. We called the waiter over, and politely explained that there must have been a mix-up, as we wanted non-alcoholic beer. He responded by shouting in our faces "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME YOU WANTED A NON-ALCOHOLIC ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE?" and stormed off to get a new beer. We were so shocked, so when he came back over, I calmly pointed out to him that the page we had pointed to displayed only non-alcoholic beers, so we thought we had ordered the correct beer. He continued to shout and tell us it was our fault. It was completely unprofessional and out of proportion for the situation. We wouldn't have even minded paying for the first alcoholic beer had he not reacted in such an angry manner.
This situation put a bad taste in our mouths. We did not feel comfortable in the restaurant and ate our food as quickly as possible to get out of there as soon as we could. We couldn't even enjoy the food because we were so upset by the treatment we received. The only reason we stayed in the restaurant was because it was late on a Saturday night and as tourists in an unfamiliar city we were unsure we would be able to get any food anywhere else.
We were so shocked that this had happened and would recommend avoiding this place if you don't want to be treated badly. At quite a high price of around 18 euros for a plate of schnitzel you would expect to be treated at least a little bit better.
