This small museum was educating about the silk industry in the area. It houses various looms, tools, wheels and gadgets associated with the production of silk fabric. This was a large industry here in the 18th century. Also, of interest was learning how the workers formed unions to stand up to the owners who kept reducing wages to increase profits.
As part of the museum, there is a shop with hand painted silk scarves of varying prices. I did purchase a few gifts here and the recipients really loved them.
