We stayed at this hotel with Crystal half board in March 2017. The hotel is virtually ski in and out, all you need to do is cross the road. This takes you to the Grangettes lift which takes you to 1850 (this opened at 8.45am despite saying 9am on the lift map). All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good especially the desserts. There is only one option on the set menu however they do offer a vegetarian option. Breakfast was plentiful with continental and some cooked options. The bar is cosy with an open fire. The ski locker is a little small and would benefit from heated boot racks. We stayed in room 209 which did not have a great view. Try to book a higher room. We had apres in town a few times there is a pub (le caterail) and wine bar. We also got the lift to 1850 a few times. The lift is free after 5.15pm and runs till 7.30pm. The Tremplin bar had some live singers and is very pricey (14 euros a pint). The Kudeta was more reasonably priced.

We've just returned from a week at Les Ancolies and have had a wonderfully relaxing week. The snow in Courchevel was very good and we had bluebird ski days. As we were on half board all we needed to do at the end of each ski day was ski back to the driveway of the hotel, stow our skis, and head to the bar for the first of many apres drinks. The food was very good, and the chef provided alternatives to his table d'hote menu to appease the more fussy diners - our kids! The bar and restaurant team were very friendly and made our stay. Our rooms were spacious and clean - with full size baths and lovely comfy beds that are so important after a hard day on the slopes! I was disappointed with the spa facilities - the hot tub is small and the sauna wasn't working when we visited. Other than that a grand week!

Gorgeous traditional French hotel. Perfect location for ski in ski out, genuinely 2 min from lifts. Such a pleasure to stay in such a welcoming hotel. It may not be 5 star rated on the 'look at me list' but it's defiantly 5 star rated for everything else. A long way from New Zealand but we will be back. Fantastic and Thank you.

I stayed here with my adult daughter while skiing after Christmas and apart from the lack of snow (not the hotels fault!) we had a lovely time. There is a really nice fire in the lobby. The staff were helpful and accommodating. Everything in Courchevel is overpriced but relative to everything else this hotel is reasonably good value. We had dinner with some friends 2 evenings and the menu was very tasty. The breakfast lacked variety as it was a buffet and the fruit salad was uninspiring- a few berries would have gone a long way! However I was being healthy and had I been eating cheese and croissants I would have been well served! If there was snow this would be ski in ski out - as it was I had the hill to climb but the exercise was good- and the hotel is very accessible.

Room Tip: The family rooms are spacious and well equipped

Its been some years since we came here as there seemed to have been some family problems but it was great to go back and see what has been done. It is much refurbished and the staff are really lovely and helpful. There is a good breakfast and a great menu du jour. There is a sauna and so on in the basement. Lovely to sit by the open fire etc. It was mid January and not very busy but still a fine experience which I will hope to repeat. Made all the better because the snow came and the skiing was marvellous. If you drive, parking and garage on site but make sure you have snow tyres or chains.
