Had a Sunday lunch with my family at this place. Ambiance and service are really nice. Food itself not special, though. Thai shrimp soup was very small, dim sums also were only 4 each but quite tasty.

Best main was the Mongolian beef, while the duck Cantonese style was well prepared but lacked vegetable side dishes. The kids were fine with the chicken nugget kind of beignets.

Good location in the Center of town.

Ate here a couple of times for lunch and enjoyed modern but traditional Chinese food with friendly and efficient staff. The location is central and overlooks the river, try and sit in the rear conservatory.
Some very good food including Peking duck

Full disclosure: we have high standards when it comes to Chinese restaurants, my wife being Chinese. The average European-Chinese restaurant regularly does not live up to our standards, the "real" Chinese food is so much better.

We decided to give it a shot here but were disappointed. An average European-Chinese place usually just tones down the Asian spices and uses lots of sugary sweet and sour sauce. This place offered a ketchup-based sauce with its spring rolls, and that is enough of a culinary sin for me to rate it poor. Our main platters did nothing to improve on that first impression, both had the same standard sauce.

The food was lovely, the service too! However everything seemed really expensive. I felt like I received half a portion of a main meal, and paid 16€ for the luxury of it being in a tiny bowl. Drinks were served in a large glass, but only half of it was filled for 5.50€. I have a feeling Chamonix itself is very expensive, but I was a little disappointed by this!
