As far as location .. it would be hard to beat the view!
Anda is so beautiful & the sea is gorgeous, in front of the hotel you can swim safely ... for most of the time it is sandy bottom with a few isolated areas of coral. There is a coral reef a little swim out & divers can be seen here, if snorkelling from the shore you should use fins as the surface current can change quickly.
East coast resort rooms are basic & clean - there are around 11 rooms, some are family rooms - ours faced the bottom pool ( there are 3 pools ) there is a small terrace with a drying rack.
A room tip - select the room at the end and then people don't walk pass your terrace and look into the bedroom.

We hired a moped 500 peso a day from reception which was great - getting around is crucial to get a feel for the area & the friendly people who live here.
Be aware that the road down to the resort is in a right rocky mess due to recent bad weather - perhaps this may improve by the time you read this...
Breakfast was included... & once we described exactly what we wanted the breakfast was brilliant. Fried eggs, brown toast, fresh fruit and coffee served in their restaurant overlooking the 3rd pool.

Inside the room the linen & towels smelt lovely.
A big minus for us was that it had no fridge & the internet ...... well that never really happened.... don't expect any connection....but again the weather could be the issue ... we just could have been very unlucky.

We dived in the area and can recommend Blue Star ( see separate review )

Enjoy!

When we walked into the room it was breathtaking all glass looking out to a magnificent sea view. We had a private beach and 3 swimming pools. The food in the restaurant very good and reasonably priced. The surrounding was very clean so was the room. The old basketball / tennis court was the only eye sore. Toilet was a little dark, Cant wait for our next stay here

Room Tip: Get one with a sea view. It is a must

Few years ago we talk about how my friends wedding gonna be not knowing that it will be realized.

We stayed at this resort before the wedding. The bride (my friend) and I the bridesmaid sleep soundly on our respective rooms. The complimentary breakfast was good. We enjoy eating as we enjoy looking at the view --- seing the horizon at early morning.

This is also where the wedding reception was held and i can say i almost cried seeing my friend and everyone happy plus oh the sunset...

A good place for family reunion and weddings.

I was amazed when I walked into our villa, it was perfect! 180 degree view of the pool and the cliffs and the sea with a huge balcony. The villa rooms were big enough for kids to be running around. The furniture is unique. Rain shower heads in the bath are always a plus for me. It was never crowded with three swimming pools plus two areas to access the beach. We got to jump off the cliff and swim back to the beach but this one is for the adventurous. The massage area was also wonderful because it was outdoors! There are quiet nooks and decks for everyone to hang out. Free breakfast was minimal but flowing coffee and juice and a lot of fruit made up for it. And the staff did small things that made the experience homey. Drinking beer in the outdoor jacuzzi was the best part of the afternoon. This place is all about exclusivity, natural wonders and relaxation. We will be back!

Room Tip: Book the first villa. It's a corner with 180 degree view of the sea, cliffs and pool. Rooms on the other side are quieter.
