This is a very special dive resort. We spent 6 nights and could have happily stayed longer. We had a quiet upstairs room which was a plus and as soon as we arrived we ate a healthy lunch then walked the short trail to the dive shop. The pure white sand and aqua water were stunning. Lito, one of the dive masters was there and he took our gear and PADI cards and made us feel welcome. We were up early to dive the next morning and everything was very organized. I think that we did 3 dives per day and most of the sites were 5 or 10 minutes away. The boats were great, really stable and roomy. We had a wonderful night dive with tiny octopus, seahorses and cuttle fish. Lito was with us most of the dives since my husband decided to do an advanced course, and he was such a good dive master. He found everything and was always in a good mood. The diverse corals are in great shape and there are lots of fish and "critters" to find. The food was ample and always good. The staff was extremely nice and the service was excellent throughout the hotel. The owner and his family were there most of the time and it was interesting to talk to them. We celebrated our wedding anniversary there and they made it one to remember. Our table was decorated with different flowers throughout the day and they had us order a special dinner in advance. The whole staff came by to congratulate us. Bigs who runs the dive shop was great, as was Jossie and all of the other dive guides, especially Lito I was really impressed with the entire resort. It is a long drive from the local airport to get there, but well worth the travel time.

Room Tip: I liked being upstairs.

From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were all so friendly, welcoming and really could not do enough for us. Fred the owner has great knowledge of the area and is working hard planting coral in the bay in front of the hotel and promoting conservation in the area. Many of these are corals are well established and quite beautiful with many fish present. This area is fairly sheltered and was calm all of the time we were there so ideal for snorkeling, kayaking or swimming. The hotel is centrally located for a lot of really great dive sites. We are primarily interested in snorkeling and freediving and went out on the dive boats every day. The boat guides are all very knowledgeable and friendly and we really enjoyed some great experiences amongst beautiful coral formations and many fish species. At times small jellyfish can be present so consider taking a rash vest or wetsuit top if snorkeling. The hotel itself is set in lovely quiet gardens with many birds, butterflies and fireflies at night. The food at Amun Ini is incredible and all freshly prepared. The best we have had at any hotel and and very reasonably priced. We have stayed at many hotels throughout the world and this is the only one we did not want to leave to visit other places. We did leave for one day, however for a day trip to visit the other sites on the island. This can be arranged through the hotel and was a really good day out. There are so many places to see in the world that we generally don't go back to places we have previously visited. This is different though and I'm sure we will be back soon.

We stayed 6 nights at Amun Ini, the staff were wonderful, personal and attentive. The place is quiet and beautiful, very unpretentious but very nice big rooms with great bathrooms and balconies. The beach is picture perfect and coral right off the beach. White sand and just the right amount of drift wood and palm trees. Diving is very high quality and the dive shop is carefully run but with a relaxed atmosphere. They are planting coral in a nursery right in front of the resort, an amazing enterprise. Overall a great balance of relaxed charming beach resort and good service and clean spacious rooms.

Room Tip: Room views are better upstairs

This is a very special place, we loved it in many different ways. It is small, family run and exquisite. The family and staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to look after their guests. The food, the drinks, the ambience and the beach and the infinity pool are fabulous. Loved its quietness and the view.
Thank you everyone

We stayed 3 night in Amun Ini hotel and we loved it so much that we decided to extend our stay. The staff and owner of the hotel are really friendly, the location is beautiful and integrated in its natural environment. The restaurant serves very nice food. The hotel is really environmental friendly and there is a lot of attention for details. We like the place as soon as we walked it for its beauty and simple sense of luxury.
The diving was also excellent, very friendly diving masters and staff and the diving spots along Anda’s beach are really preserved in terms of corals. The house reef is also very nice with lot of hard corals remaining and the hotel is making a lot of effort to preserve them and restore corals. If you ask your dive master, you can even help planting corals and contribute to preserve the beautiful environment.

We really recommend staying and Amun in if you go to Bohol.
