We booked the resort after reading so many positive reviews and Blue Star did live up to the hype.

This place is just a paradise for divers. Mick, his lovely wife Mildred (my apologise if the name was misspelled!) and the rest of the team made the whole experience so enjoyable. We had a couple of fun dives with Blue Star and I also took my AOW courses here.

Everything was top notch and diving equipment was all in good condition. The crew was very supportive and we felt so safe with them. Coral and marine life here is the best I’ve ever seen. A true treasure and it is worth everyone’s efforts to protect.

The resort itself was nice and peaceful. Staff were friendly and caring. Food was not bad. But the highlight for us is really the diving centre and the sea!

We will certainly come back!

We had an amazing day diving with Blue Star. We didn't stay at the resort(unfortunately) but just came to dive. The diving itself was absolutely stunning and very relaxing. But also the service from the entire crew was excellent. Everything was taken care of. And next to the brand new equipment, little details as drinks and watermelon in the boat were very much appreciated. Mick, who took us diving that day had a lot of knowledge and shared many tips, tricks and stories. He also made sure everyone would have enough time under water. The people with more air left could dive longer.
After the diving we were invited to stay and enjoy the pool, sunset and food.
So thanks again Mick and the other crew members. We had a great day!

We visited Blue Star Dive & Resort last November 29 until December 2.We reached the place after sunset. Upon arrival to that place, I have already noticed the serenity and calm ambience which surprised me so much. I told myself, “ I’m gonna have a great rest here.”
The staff welcomed me and my two former students. I loved to see the entire place the next day.
I woke up early to roam the entire resort and I was greatly surprised. I could not help but enjoyed the entire vicinity...I saw the beach and it was so heavenly...fabulous and breathtaking, perfect for nature lovers like me...it is an Instagrammable place indeed. There is a mini man made forest and a sea of aster flowers.

As we arrived storm Marillyn ruined our diving holiday. We had started our trip in Malapascua and booked a second resort for another week.
The resort is fantastic with great service and very nice rooms.
Good food and a decent bar selection.
As this is a dive resort I wonder if someone should have emailed us and told us diving would be impossible given the weather as we obviously didnt know we couldnt dive !
The divecentre owner told us diving would be impossible for our booked stay so we checked out early. The hotel manager discounted 2 out of 3 remaining nights .
Every one was nice enough but I think we could have saved us the very long trip to Anda from Malapascua and done something else as besides diving there is nothing else to do bar a island tour, which we done. The driver/ guide was fantastic.
