We took the train from Paris to Chateaux Thierry and Champagne Pannier was a short cab ride from the train station. The tour of the champagne cave can be conducted in French or English which you can specify when making the reservation on the Champagne Pannier website.

Our group included four people and our tour guide, Eve, was wonderful. She took her time guiding us through the caves and teaching us about the process of making champagne. We learned far more than we expected and she was happy to answer all of our questions (we had many). Afterward, we tasted three champagnes in the tasting room and Eve expertly told us about each one.

There was absolutely no pressure to purchase anything at the end of the experience, but there is a 15% discount if you decide to buy anything. We walked away with six bottles of the most incredible rose that is not available in the US.

We had a fantastic time and I would highly recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about Champagne Pannier and the region in general. We were there in mid-September and there was one other tour scheduled for that day so we were not rushed at all. However, Eve told us that during the summer there are far more tours so make sure to book ahead of time.

We pre-booked the tour as we were a group of 10 English speakers. We were running a few minutes late for our scheduled tour and the hostess was very accommodating. We make a trip to Champagne every year and this was our first trip to Pannier. This was definitely one of my favourite tours so far. The cellars are impressive, the hostess was full if interesting information. She was friendly and unlike some of the other tours, we weren't rushed through the tour and were allowed to stop and take pictures. Most importantly the champagne is great!

A short but well structured tour in English , showing us all the relevant details in the production of this wine.
Pleasant helpful guide and brief tasting included.

We were very happy with visit to the Pannier Champagne cellars. The guide was really nice and she explained to us everything we needed. Ant it was free!We came in the morning before leaving to the airport and we got the excursion just for two of us! The medieval cellars were so impressing! We were told there is about 2km of cellars and the capacity is 4 million bottles! What a nice company! Recommended!

An interesting tour of the caves where they keep and mature the champagnes until sales. It was a very well carried tour and as complete novices in the champagne drinking, tasting and understanding, we found it interesting and informative.
The tour lasts around 40 minutes which included a tasting at the end. We only tasted the "normal" Brut but for extra money, you could have opted for 2 or 3 different cuvees. Like I said, I dont know much about champagnes but they certainly tasted very nice and we ended up buying a case of the vintage and a case of the blanc de blancs - which this was purely after showing interest, our tour guide actually gave us an additional tasting and on the strength of that we bought a case back. Its as they say, very much of a personal preference, but the blanc de blancs for me, does it every day! Much more elegance and smooth than normal champagne and well worth the extra money. I think the prices are also very reasonable and the discount you get after having taken the tour (15%) is value for money.
