We were unable to get a lunchtime reservation on the day at Le Bouchon which is frequented by locals as it has a bargain basement high quality three course lunch menu
However no regrets as we finished up eating at this small intimate husband and wife run restaurant with an amazing €23.50 menu - beautifully presented high quality innovative food - particularly the fish which was very fresh and moist.
You need to book as there is only a very small window for lunch so typical of franch restaurants

We enjoyed a delicious set menu meal at lunch time. Only €19 for two courses it’s certainly the best time to go!

Although we were told, regrettably, that we were a little late for lunch (13:20) and so the starters had run out we stayed for the meal anyway and have no regrets. The waitress actually gave us a complementary stater anyway so we didnt lose out at all. The fish of the day main course was wonderful and the dessert exquisite too. For each dish the components of the meal were described to us in turn which made the place feel very posh. We were not dressed up for the occasion though.

Right in the centre of the city and with lovely outdoor seating I’d recommend this restaurant anyone looking for a treat.

This was our best diner in Nantes. What a great experience. Les amuses geullles made already clear that was going to be great evening. Folie gas which was reallifesoap fantastic and thon which was reallifesoap perfect. The main course was a real excellent fish “maigre” , delicious. The desserts were making the diner complete. The lakende de pomerol of 2010 ws worth is price. In younwant to have a fantastic diner, do nog hesitate.

This was a mixed bag. The outside terrace is a delightful place to eat on a warm day. The seafood is clearly fresh: my wild turbot felt like it had just come off the boat. But the preparation was a little hit and miss. Some dishes soared, others fell flat. Felt like there was a chef with too many ideas and not enough rigour in the kitchen. Our waitress was a bit snippy at times, too. On the whole a good (but not great) experience.

This is now may be my favorite seafood restaurant in the world. Attention to every detail and every detail was exceptional. It was recommended by the staff at Okko Hotel and I am grateful for their suggestion.

Service was very good, and their recommendations were perfect. Intimate setting, that would be best if your partner or spouse was with you.
