The rooms here were very clean and the decor was pleasing. The hotel is centrally located and you can walk anywhere in town very easily. The WiFi worked well here and the breakfast buffet included freshly baked bread and pain au chocolat that were still warm! I did not go to the pool but others in my group did and said it was clean and well kept.

Hôtel De Brunville Et Restaurant Le Café Louis is a historic coaching station for horses and carriages although you would never know this now. During WW2 it was a brothel for the rank and file of the German Army. The officers had a separate brothel. (Information provided by a D-Day tour guide). The hotels clean and welcoming. It has secure parking.Rooms are fairly modern. Food is OK. It is located in the heart of Bayeux. The Bayeux Tapestry Museum is a 10 minute walk away.

We got a semi boarded rate below €100 and while the hotel was ok, dinner was very poor (plain poached egg was over cooked as was the cod after) and service at restaurant unwelcoming.
I will not come back.

Affordable, simple room in city center. Bit overpriced vs. quality, this can be fixed with modern refurbishment of the room as a bit worn down. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Cleanliness needs to be better (doors were clearly missed). The private (paid) parking is a pro.

The room was OK. Nothing special but clean with everything you needed. We had a rate including breakfast which was good.
There is a cheaper public car park next door so check this before taking the hotel parking.
