We found Le Christine totally by chance one evening. We were looking at the menu before they opened and the maitre d' greeted us but apologised saying the restaurant was already fully booked. We asked if we had a table for the following night and luckily for us he did. That evening by the time we arrived was also fully booked. The food was wonderful. As a vegetarian its is sadly rare to have food of this quality available without prior warning! My mushroom tarte was rich, dark and earthy yet with such a light base. My husband had the duck, cooked pink, which they checked if he would be ok with knowing that the English sometimes don't have their meat as rare as the French. Each dish was created with finesse and care. The service was superb, welcoming and slick without being too stuffy. the restaurant is small and quite romantic, some couples some groups, some tourists, some French. A really mixture. It was probably our most expensive meal in Paris, but food of this quality elsewhere could easily be twice the price. I thought it was wonderful. A real treat to end a lovely holiday.
