We picked the "meny découverte" and we had three lovely courses, the food is tasty and the price of the menu is really reasonable. The restaurant is located in a quiet and beautiful area, you have the impression to be in a village in the heart of Paris. The staff is really friendly. I definitely recommend this restaurant!

At the hotel where we stayed, receptionist recommended Thai Papaya ( she confirmed that we might not find a table as it’s always busy in the evening). So we decided to give it a shot!

When we first arrived, Restauarant was almost full with a couple of empty tables. The manager (might be the owner) immediately turned us down by assuring that his place is fully booked and we might find a table in 30 mins! So we agreed to walk around and come back for the table! Then the manager / owner immediately offered to give us a table for two, which felt a bit strange after confirming that all tables were booked! Anyways we were seated and offered a menu.

Menu had many options with a wide selection of veggie choices which is great.

For starters, we ordered Nems Crevettes - 4pcs (6.8£), Riz Aux Legumes - big portion (8£), Nouille Legumes big portion (10£), Poulet Curry (11£) & 1 Thai beer (4.90£).

Food and service were excellent. Options were tasty and big enough for two to three persons.

Total invoice was 40,70£ which is fair enough for the tasty food and service.

Keep it up Thai Papaya!

We ate at Thai Papaya this evening and it was absolutely beautiful. We selected the set menu and were not disappointed. The food was amazing and the portions were very satisfying. We had 1) spring rolls, steamed fish in banana leaves and Thai flan 2) dim sum, green chicken curry and ice cream. We have already decided to go back for a second meal.

This restaurant is small but the food is delicious. The food was fresh and the portions good. I am one to try the Pad Thai first and if I like it, I will come again and be more adventurous - needless to say in 10 days I ate there twice.

Good thing to know what you want to order in French, I did not but everything came out fine.

Wonderful selections on price fixe menu. Absolutely delighted with chicken curry dish and lemongrass soup with shrimp.
