Incredible museum, but it doesn't feel like a stuffy museum. Equally fun for adults and kids. Our guide was Marie and she passionate and engaging. She made this fun for everyone. I was so surprised that they let you ride these amazing and beautiful carousels and play the vintage games. Your guide takes you through multiple warehouses filled with carnival and theatrical props. This is a unique experience and one that shouldn't be missed! NOTE that you must purchase and reserve your tour online, in advance.

Not knowing what to expect I was thrilled to explore this beautiful collection. Our tour guide MAX was a gem: enthusiastic and I felt that he simply loved what he was doing. And I like that fact that there are interactive parts where we all had to do things :-) I recommend this to every age groun - it is simply fun!

Fantastic exhibition and interactive fun run by an engaging tour leader. Commentary was in French but it didn't bother us, there was too much to look at and enjoy. Children seemed to love it as much as adults.

Important! This is a privately owned museum and you must make reservations for a tour. You cannot just arrive and go in. That said...it is so worth it to make the effort.

We've been twice, and been lucky enough to have English tours both times from the same guide (Marine); she is enthusiastic and high energy and makes the tour a real joy.

You can see things you can never see anywhere else...and some of it you can play and/or ride on! You'll see a 4 minute opera performed by automatons. You compete against others in a mechanical horse race. Ride the bicycle powered merry-go-round from the 1850s. There is a mechanical band that runs off punch cards like a player piano. It's a warehouse full of unique, really interesting stuff.

There are so many neat things to do in Paris...don't let this one slip by.

Was very interested in seeing Musee des Arts Forains as something a little different. There are some beautiful displays and rides, and getting to ride on these was the best part. Our tour was in French, so I'm guessing we missed out on quite a bit. Would have been nice for the displays to have written information so we could have read up on pieces ourselves. Could be spectacular with some funding.
