Since my husband and I had tickets for late morning entry at the nearby YSL Museum, we searched the internet for nearby places for lunch and came across Philippe et Jean-Pierre. Looked great, nice menu, and secured a 30% discount offer on the a la carte menu by booking on La Forchette. Stopped by before lunch service started and confirmed our booked in person, which was met with a nice smile and thank you.
Upon arrival, Philippe showed us to our table and took our order for a glass of champagne. Perused the menu, finding it difficult to make decisions. I settled on foie gras done two ways and husband had langoustines on a bed of fennel; decent sized and both were great. Mains were roasted sweetbread and sirloin steak, with accompanying side dishes; cooking could not be faulted in the least. Final course of chocolate pudding/soufflé which was indeed rich and perhaps too much, but through no fault of the restaurant. The 30% was deducted without having to say anything and with pleasant 'au revoir' we were on our way.
Look forward to a return in order to see what it's like for dinner. Choice well made and highly recommend this establishment.
