A major park building in the 19th Century on the site of a stone quarry, it tumbles down hillsides, into valleys, with a lake, some little boats, a cavern and a couple of curious buildings. Popular, pretty.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont is a charming Paris Park with a lake, suspension bridge, architectural features and lush gardens.
Bicycles, pedestrian traffic, lots of joggers seems to be a regular circuit.
Great people watching and picnic opportunity.
It is a super park where you can make a picnic and relax. It is huge and you have also a bar restaurant.
It’s just a park, but you get the feeling the landscaper ran amuck. There is a hill in the middle, a gorge, bridges, a lake and a fabulous air of extremism. Lovely and quiet but fight in the middle of metropolitan Paris. It is a nice oasis of calm and fresh air with a city all around it. It’s not the most exciting place on the planet but it is green, fresh, uncrowded and worthy of an hour or so of your time
Super lovely park, with something for people of all ages and tastes - running trails, playgrounds, bars, restaurants, picnic areas, exercise station, etc. Feels like a retreat getaway from the bustling city, yet steps away from it all.
This is a wonderful park whether you want to enjoy the view, walk around, hang out with friends or read a book in the quiet green
