Owner description: Home to Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa, the Louvre is considered the world's greatest art museum, with an unparalleled collection of items covering the full spectrum of art through the ages.

A wonderful museum with well thought out exhibits.

The downside is the room where the Mona Lisa is - could be better organised and was far too hot with the bundle of bodies.

Lots to see and do - far more then a single visit.

Certainly on a par with the British Museum, which is exceptional.

Even if you are not big art lover, you must see it. For skipping the line (cue is huuugeee), buy tickets in advance or via tourism agency as a package (together with bus sight seeing).
There are so many excibitions, that it is impossible to see everything, finally you get tired of the crowd and want to get off asap. But once in your life..

The entering was easy but then it happened. So many people. Also it was amazimgly big and I did not look at all the things. But actually I recommend to check it out.

A fantastic museum and amazing collection. Very very busy and quite expensive to get water or a sandwich inside and the close proximity. If you are on budget I would advice to bring some with you.
In regards to the queue, be prepared for a long time in the queue due to the popularity. But you can purchase (we did it through Trip Advisor) a skip the line ticket which takes away any queuing! And it doesn’t cost extra compared to the ticket price at the museum.
Enjoy!

There is sooo much to see that you can‘t enjoy all the artworks. So instead of trying to see everything enjoy the highlights and what is more of your interest.
