At check-in we were allowed in the room a bit earlier than the established time, which was nice. But after that, no contact with staff, not even a Bonjour. Strange.
The room was very very small, so was the bathroom.
The only tiny window had a view to the construction site in the back; very depressing. We thought the 6th floor would be nicer but actually it's probably the worst since the whole sea side of the building is dedicated to a terrace, so all rooms on this floor face the assorted brick walls in the back.
The bed was another strange setup: two beds pushed together seem normal in Europe, but two beds with wheels pushed together can be a disaster! If you or your partner move a lot during sleep you could fall in the gap... Strange.
All in all not a bad hotel, clean and fairly well located. Maybe if we had stayed in a better room our perspective would be more positive.

Room tip: Avoid the 6th floor - no seaport view.

Staying for one night in our way down through Corsica. The beds were very comfortable and the best thing about the room. The rest was as you would expect of a mercure. The breakfast was unfortunately lukewarm when we were there but there was a fair selection of stuff available.

We had a very pleasant stay here. Our plane was early so we arrived before check-in-time but the staff let us use the carpark and their facilities. They were friendly and pleasant. The room was clean and quiet. Even though the hotel is on a busy road, we did not hear anything. One tip : the breakfast buffet is really good and generous but if you are up for a change, the bakery next door offers some delicious specialities.

This hotel which is supposedly rated at 4 stars is an absolute joke. The staff were unfriendly and not very helpful, the lobby was dirty, the rooms, even the privilege, were shocking. The view of a brick wall was horrible and when we had prepaid for 4 nights and left after 2 nights, not even a consideration for any compensation. 2 room movements because things didn't work was enough. We travel around the world and don't complain very much but thought it imperative to advise guests that this is not the hotel to stay.

Room tip: Don't stay in this hotel........I hope someone reads this TRUE observation.

Thank you for your commenrts that are surprising as we are definitely seen as one of the best 4 stars in the city, most of our guest comments are underlying the quality of our service and the friendliness of our staff.
We would be happy to investigate further what you are calling shocking in terms of rooms, if you contact us directly

Central location in walking distance to city center. Good breakfast. Staff very helpfull and spoke excellent english. Nice spacy room. A bit difficult to reach by car (one way streets and traffic) and a very narrow entrance to the parking garage (no problem once inside the garage) Absolutely a recommendable hotel.
