Serves the freshest and tastiest Burgers that we've ever tried. Frites were amazing too! Really friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Dinan.

Le Resto is so unassuming from the outside, quite different from your typical Dinan eateries in its contemporary decor. However once inside it oozes all the best in French dining! Superb food, excellent service and extremely reasonably priced. I could go on, but why not just try it yourself, I really don't think you will be disappointed.

After looking at other reviews we decided to visit this place , so glad we did. Our meal was excellent, and the service was good. The lady had very limited English but helped us with the menu. We chose a steak (which was one of the best I've ever tasted) and the lot, including dessert and two glasses of wine, came to 44 euros, what a bargain!!

We have eaten what can only be described as an excellent set meal, the lunch time menu of the day. The choices were few and the descriptions on the board, handwritten tested our very limited french a phrase to far!! So it was with great delight and pleasure when we received our meals, the quality and freshness combined with fresh inventive tastes that excited us all together with beautiful presentation made this one of the most memorable meals of our holiday. The lady who was managing front of house on this day was both helpful and kind understanding our language limitations. What we received in both service and food can only be commended and recommended, it was incredible value for money at 15€ each. Eat here!

Overnighting In Dinan for the first time , I scouted out this restaurant on Friday night , just off the north west corner of the main square , Place Duguesclin . I had trouble believing their thursday/friday night special menu - there seemed to be too much weird & exciting good stuff on it . Especially for €15 ! (see picture ) Having fetched wife , who was game for something different , we settled in .The charming lady who served us assured us the menu was everything- no choices neccessary .
The decor was crisp , modern and tasteful,so we feared that it might be some kind of trendy dinner ( minuscule lumps on a tin foil ) but just the opposite .
Each of the four courses was impeccably served on a plate, with fresh cutlery ,and got better & better ;.now here you really have to look at my picture of the menu, cause there's too much to describe, without getting you drooling . With a fine Bordeaux, mineral water & coffees the bill came to €60 . A steal . (my favourite was the magret de canard , but wife is still reminiscing about the sweet - baba limoncello)
We spoke with charming waitress, and later the chef , (her husband & co-owner) ,came out , and apparently they only took over the restaurant six months ago .
We expect this meal to be the high point of our holiday - definitely a gastronomic adventure , as the menu promises . Only afterwards did we realise that we felt well fed, despite not having seen a potato /noodle or such all evening .
Conclusion : tremendous price/quality/taste/enjoyment ratio .Go before they put the prices up !
