Great restaurant, very nice setting in St Jean de Luz, informal with spectacular food and wine. We loved it and would go back again for the seafood.

We arrived and left in torrential rain but it did not stop us thorougly enjoying the eating experience.
We took the 27 euro menu which made a saving of about 6 euros over the same a la carte items but there was no reduction in the serving size.
All the food was well prepared and served nicely.
The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming
Great place

Who was it who first quoted 'a game of two halves'..? We had arrived following a review of the various restaurants and thought that this looked like a good bet. Friendly service and as it was a lovely evening we sat outside. The starters were ok...nothing to write home about. I had the salad with the squid and prawns which I thought was a bit bland. My wife had the squid, which was plentiful, but again , under seasoned in our opinion. The main courses were better. The sea bass was really nice...well cooked and tasty. Whereas my prawns were tasty but overcooked and therefore they lost their texture. Desserts were ok and plentiful. Good value for money too. So, all in all, it was ok, but not great compared to some of the other restaurants we have eaten at in SJL.

What a great find! Our group of 6 was met by friendly & helpful staff. 2 couples ordered from the fixed price menu & enjoyed everything! The fish soup was puréed with no chunks of seafood, but very tasty. The seafood plate had cod, shrimp & squid. The squid was prepared perfectly & everything else tasted yummy too. The red peppers stuffed with cod was very good. The caramelized sauce on the flan was the best I’ve ever had! One couple ordered the paella & said it was very flavorful. The place fills up fast, so I’d advise gettin there early. We were all very happy with our choices & would definitely come back.

The staff was very welcoming and open to all our questions about the different menu items. The food was served in large portions with a great presentation. We were all very pleased with our meals. The restaurant was crowded but we never felt rushed to vacate. A very enjoyable evening with good friends, good food and excellent service.
