The state of this venue is a complete disgrace to MK Council. I have never been to any country park that is so disfigured by litter as this one. Rubbish strewn everywhere: two litter pickers operating in tandem - one picking and one holding a bag! This place needs an army of litter pickers to clean it up. Cars are driven all over the place and the toilet facilities are disgusting. Council have the cheek to levy a £4 fee to enter,
We went as a large group of 27 (13 children) all camping. The prices are reasonable and the children really enjoyed the park and lakes. However, the showers and toilets were disgusting to say the least! The ladies facilities were all blocked on the Saturday we went to the front gate to report it and we were told by security, I quote ‘ nothing I can do about it, use the men’s and if it gets really bad call 999’. By the next morning they were overflowing with ladies having to use the men’s facilities. The bins were overflowing with lots of litter around the place. In our area there was a group of all men who played loud music until 0300hrs and started again at 0630 waking everyone up.
Not sure I would return for camping!
Just come back from Emberton, 2 nights early, as the noise levels at night were terrible. Large groups of campers talking very loudly and drinking until 3pm. Litter everywhere, bins overflowing with rubbish, toilet block appeared to get blocked daily, so didn't go in there, waste disposal facilities disgusting, children running riot and trashing the drinking water area. And not a cheap site. Never going back again. The 1 star is for the lady at the entrance gate who was friendly when we complained.
First time visit ,reasonable entrance fee and ample parking in various areas ,great for a picnic in fact you could bring bar be ques basically any thing you needed to have a great day out .Several children's play areas and lovely walks around the lakes. The cafe was reasonably to priced to, worth a visit.
Car entry fee of £4 but a bargain for what's inside. Lots of land for camping or just BBQ. Nice and safe children's playground. Nice lake to walk around. Lots of parking. Extra fee for staying overnight but reasonable price. Great for a day out to make your own fun with kids. Worth a visit.
Just returned from 4 nights camping, we really enjoyed it, it’s was very quiet as we went midweek, the place is relatively clean although the toilets/shower block could do with upgrading, fishing was ok although they have let it go lots of weeds, would I return yes I would only midweek tho when the kids are at school 😂😂
