A lovely pub on the outskirts of Harrogate where we enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch after a walk in the Dales. We had a selection of main courses - Roast Pork Loin with crackling (could have been crisper), Rib of beef, Sea Bass and scallops, Roast Beef. We added extra portions of butternut and cauliflower cheese. All came perfectly cooked. For the fish dish - they followed requests re no dairy diet. And then to finish off one of us had at the sticky toffee pudding - wow, delicious!
Our labrador was also welcome to come and lie at the table we had in the bar area - being dog friendly in the bar area was one of the reasons for choosing the pub for our Sunday lunch
