We paid a quick visit to Reginalds tower during our visit to Waterford. The lady on the way in was friendly and informative. It is a very well maintained important historical monument.

My boyfriend and I visited on the Saturday of the Easter weekend and were delighted to find that there was free admission to Reginald's Tower that day in celebration of the Viking Festival. We were impressed by the short film about the history of the tower and of Waterford city that was running on the top floor. Worth visiting and worth the normal entry fee of five euro.

You climb up the winding stairs to the top floor, view a very interesting video on the history of the Vikings and Waterford. The building is wonderful with arched windows and old artifacts. Great experience.

To think how ancient this tower is, is surreal. It's not expensive and not a hard climb. It's worth the stop.

This is an essential stop if you’re looking into knowing more about the history of Waterford. The cost is €5 per person to go into the tower. There’s 4 floors including Viking artifacts and information along with a short film of Waterford’s history.
