My family enjoyed this morning's walking tour of Galway's historic center with Brian. Very thorough and informative presentation that started at Galway Museum and ended in Eyre Square with a visit to O'Connell's pub where Ed Sheeran's "Galway Girl" video was filmed to absolute delight of the younger members of our group. Brian is an absolute trove of information on Irish history and I recommend his services without reservations.

Great walking tour for a group of college-aged girls! Brian Nolan tailored the tour towards our interests covering everything from facts about the Ed Sheeran Music Video, to memorable stories of Galway History, and even brought up things about locals such as those who were on the titanic. Great tour! Very knowledgeable about the area!

Brian Nolan gave us an amazing tour of Galway and it’s history. He taught us of the history and showed us the beauty of medieval Galway hidden in plain site. This was the perfect start to our day in Galway, we absolutely recommend this tour.

Thank you so much for your lovely review and beautiful photographs. I'm glad we had the time to get around the city...winter /spring tours are quieter and taking advantage of that, I really enjoy going off the beaten path with the smaller numbers of walkers in the off season. Come back again soon... and bring your swimming gear...Brian

We found Brian Nolan online--reviews indicated a good tour. They were wrong...he gives a GREAT tour! We started off with the pub tour (shortest walking tour in Ireland) and had a blast as we learned Irish history and the art of whiskey tasting. He became less a "paid guide" and more a "good friend" to us. He agreed to meet us the next day for a short tour of Galway. Being from Hawaii, we of course had an ukulele with us and enjoyed sharing our music. We will make an effort to visit Galway again not only because the city is a wonderful place, not only because the people are wonderful people, but just to drop by and have a pint with Brian.

Hi Eric... how could I forget you and your friends..? You are the first and only Hawaiian ukulele player to have ever busked on the streets of Galway. My friend Johnnie Mullins who accompanied you on the accordion is always asking me if I'd heard from you. He got such a kick from the Live video I posted on FB of the two of you. Yes...we had two fun tours in O'Connor's Bar in Salthill and on the medieval streets of Galway, but we had a really great time together too. I do hope you can make it back here sometime soon...oh...and learn some new songs...lol. Slainte. Brian Nolan
