I stayed here very recently. On checking I was advised that I was being upgraded to a deluxe suite. Sounded like a good start. Wrong! When entering the room I found it to be quite cold. This was due to the window being left open. It was not the type of day for Windows to be open. It was a damp misty and foggy day. When checking the bathroom I noticed that the toilet tissue had not been replenished as approx a quarter of a roll remained. You might class this as petty but to me it shows a low standard of housekeeping. Basically a room that is going to be occupied should be prepared for new occupants. I found the bed to be very uncomfortable. Throughout the night sleep was interrupted by the constant banging of doors. I had an early appointment next morning. I was planning to have breakfast when I returned to the hotel. What a disappointment. This was the worst full Irish breakfast I have had in a very long time. When does a full Irish not have a fried egg? Granted, there was scrambled eggs but what was available was practically liquid. The pudding was like a rock as were the sausages.
