Not very well kept, this is such a signature area for Dublin, should really focus on developing it. Weekend atmosphere is quite nice however.

Temple Bar is far too touristy & has prices to match. A lot quieter due to COVID & attracts a lot of beggars. Try the up & coming area across the river called Smithfield’s or Camden for a far better experience & at a better price.

A good experience. Is expensive but is lovely.
I liked the environment. Friendly and available staff. Can improve sanitation. Tables were dirty.

I have been to Dublin several times and have always loved Temple Bar. The atmosphere used to be electric and it was bouncing at any time of day. I know due to covid restrictions it closes earlier than usual but the thing that was totally off putting was people constantly begging for money. You are disturbed literally every 10 minutes with people asking for spare change, cigarettes or lighters. It’s really off putting and I’m surprised the bars within Temple Bar and the Garda are allowing it to happen. The begging is aggressive to the point where one of our party was told they would be escorted to a cash machine to give someone change. I don’t know if I would visit again because of this, it really needs addressing.

Best pub I've ever been to, deserves to be so famous. Staff are great and a good laugh. Worth heading to. Stayed in Dublin for three nights and went everyday. Does get busy at night, so get there early. Very COVID safe, they checked jabs with IDs and signed everyone in.
