The staff was very kind and professional.
Specifically Matteo for his capability to empathize with customers. I'm celiac. He provided specific food and checked continuously our level of sadisfaction. We will come back at Montenotte for sure

I cannot rate this hotel highly enough, one of the best we have stayed in and we've stayed in a lot of hotels. The staff, the food, the bar, the gardens, the room - all excellent, I'm so glad we chose the Montenotte for our recent trip to Cork. It was one of the nicest breakfasts we've had and we particularly liked sitting outside on the terrace. We also had dinner one evening in the restaurant and the food was outstanding. It's a 20 minute walk into town, slightly longer on the way back or a short taxi ride. I just wish there were more Montenotte's around the world.

A very fancy hotel on the outskirts of the city, Check in was easy and the staff member we spoke with was really friendly. The car park is spacious and very safe.
Our room was a basic room but was in fact very nice. We had a room looking out over the self catering accommodation.
We didn't dine at the hotel but we had a drink in the bar and out on the terrace. The cocktails are fantastic and the service is good.
If you need to go in to the city and are happy to use public transport, a 5 minute walk down to the square near to John Henchys pub you can get the local bus down the hill and into the city. Very easy to access.

Stayed 2 nights. Excellent hotel in every way, rooms, food and facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful.Fantastic views over Cork.As Cork is a small city you are not far from main shopping area or venues for shows or sports events. We enjoyed our stay so much, we will be back.

From the minute we arrived at the Montenotte Hotel the service and staff were incredible! The doorman was a breathe of fresh air, the reception staff were very polite and helpful, the dinner staff were very attentive and friendly and the waiter bringing us our cocktails was exceptional. The food was fantastic, as well as the cocktails we enjoyed on the terrace.
For us, the Montenotte out did a couple of 5* places we've visited in Ireland!
Can not wait to go back.
