Had a wonderful evening at this restaurant, the service is excellent and it has a lovely atmosphere. The food is really outstanding, some of us had the fixed price evening menu and every course was delicious; it’s amazingly good value. Homemade bread is brought to the table then each course which is beautifully presented. The chef is highly skilled- I urge you to visit, next time I’m in Perth I cartainly will!

This place was a real treat. I had confit carrots for my starter and I can honestly say I didn’t realise carrots could taste so good! The main course and dessert were also delicious. The bill was a surprise...it was very reasonable for such high quality food. We will definitely be back!

We arrived late on a packed Friday night, instead of scowls, we got a warm welcome and soon were tucking into monkfish and scallop starters, Jerusalem Artichokes, Rabbit and wonderful celeriac puree.

The food was of the highest standard, worth a Michelin star.

When we finished, only half our bill turned up, our beers had been deleted. We asked why and were told that the restaurant considered their service too slow!

We tried to compensate a little in the tip but ran out of cash to do it properly.

This place gave us one of the nicest dining experiences we have had.

Our son and daughter-in-law gave us a generous voucher as a Christmas gift so we planned a weekend away around a visit to The North Port. We arrived early, were welcomed warmly by Kaya and swiftly seated. I loved the carved ceiling in the dining room!
Drinks orders and menus were quickly dealt with. The restaurant was busy with a pre theatre crowd but that thinned out a bit before filling up again; obviously a popular venue!
Then we realised why it’s a popular venue! The food was superb! My Black Isle lamb was delicious and my husband said his ribeye was the best he’d tasted in a long time! We both chose a cheeseboard with different cheeses and thoroughly enjoyed them. The Lanark Blue, Applesmoke, Strathearn and Blairlaith are all worthy of mention; there is no slur intended on the Drumturk Ptarmigan, simply it didn’t feature in our choices. It’s worth mentioning that the cheeses were at room temperature, which was a treat!
Service was prompt, friendly and efficient throughout. Special mention to Kaya for her warm and attentive professionalism.
This was our first visit to The North Port but it won’t be our last!

Fantastic food and brilliant customer service.
The menu is really innovative ( the Arbroath smokies with squid ink were superb) and everything is really reasonably priced.
The menu is quite limited in a totally positive way , meaning that everything is superbly freshly cooked.
Service was impeccable.
Brilliant !
