Room was fantastic, great view overlooking the golf course with a sizeable balcony. Staff very accommodating and friendly, even during busy check in/out hours. Didn't get the chance to eat in the hotel but all other services were superb. Spa appointments book up quickly, we didn't manage to get one even with 4 weeks notice. Hopefully next time.

Thank you for your guest review on Kingsmills hotel.

Delighted you had a great stay. We will have to tempt you back, so next time you can eat with us and enjoy a spa appointment.

TIP when booking your room, do so with the hotel reservations department and book your spa appointments at the same time.

What can I say fantastic hotel, staff very friendly and great crack, room very nice, would have been 5* but felt disappointed no greek yoghurt at breakfast and mushrooms seemed to be deep fried and steamed/poached.
But that is a personal opinion and I got over it by day 2 LOL

Stayed here for one night in a room in the separate Kingsclub building
Room was really lovely with patio doors overlooking the adjacent golf course.
Beautiful bathroom with large walk in shower and a bath too!
Enjoyed a lovely breakfast in the morning and was nice to be able to order off a menu as well has help yourself to buffet breakfast

Hotel was very busy and when we went to the main bar on Saturday night we struggled to find a seat and were disappointed to not get to try the spa as it was fully booked when I tried to organise appointments 3 weeks before visiting! Guess I need to be more organised next time!

    Dear Guest,

Delighted you had a wonderful stay in our Kingsclub. Thank you for the guest review and positive feedback.

The Kingsclub spa does get very busy at weekends and unfortunately does book up in advance especially on Fridays / Saturdays and Sundays.

It would be great to welcome you back so you can enjoy a relaxing massage on your next stay. TIP When making your reservation do so by calling the hotel direct and book in your spa appointments at the same time as your bedroom reservation.

    Haste ye back!

    Kind Regards

We stayed here for a few nights making Inverness the base for trips up to Sutherland and West to Glen Affric.

Very friendly and courteous staff and having the dog with us was no problem (although there is a £20 surcharge)

The spa facilities were very good and the location is great. We could easily walk into the city centre with the dog for dinner.

    Dear Guest,

Thanks for your guest review and recent business. I was delighted to read that you had fantastic stay at Kingsmills hotel and made us of one of our dog friendly rooms. These are very popular and we only charge £20 for the dog per stay, not per night.

I hope to welcome you back to Kingsmills hotel again.

I booked 4 nights here as a base for travels around Inverness and surrounds, so parking and comfort important.

When we arrived the carpark was nearly full so had to park out by the spa building. Then when checking in, we were told were in another building even further away.

Seems there are two hotels here. Kingsmills and Kingsclub and Spa. We were in the latter - a very modern building with views over a golf course.

The welcome there was nice - free dram of whisky - and the room was comfortable.

It’s just a shame that hotel with “spa” in the name is farthest away from the spa. Indeed you have to trek through 2 carparks to get to it.

The restaurants are In the main hotel. We used the whisky bar, but seating is limited and awkward for eating. There are two other restaurants there too that we didn’t use.

It all looked very nice and the staff are very pleasant.

The town is about a 20 min walk from the hotel.

We didn’t use the spa in the end.

    Dear Guest,

Thanks for your guest review and business over the last four days.

The Kingsclub building opened in 2010 and is a hotel within a hotel. The equivalent of an executive floor in some of the large corporate brands.

The Kingsclub building also hosts the Kingsclub beauty spa within the lower ground floor. The Leisure Club (swimming pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and two gyms) are within the main Kingsmills hotel.

We have a golf buggy and a driver to drive you there and back, so you can move from one building to another in your robes with ease. I apologise this was not made clear to you on arrival.

Thank you for the feedback, we will do some refresher training on this point.

    Kind Regards
