I recently visited Glasgow for the World Irish Dance Championships where I had some relatives from the USA dancing in the competition. During a break in the afternoon we headed for a late lunch at the Willow Teas Rooms. What a lovely experience warmly greeted and seated by a window. Food was delicious and my cousin loved the scones, jam and clotted cream. Her first time having a cream tea !!! Service was friendly and efficient It has a lovely atmosphere. Definitely will return on my next visit to Glasgow.

Willow Tea Rooms are a throw back to more genteel days. The staff are polite and kind to their many regular older patrons but happy to chat up a storm with a younger client base as well. Everything was prepared well with fresh ingredients and tasted wonderful. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxing on a cold rainy day.

Why get breakfast in your hotel when this is better, cheaper and more stylish?
As long as you're a tourist not in a hurry of course, they don't open early.
Excellent choice of tasty freshly-cooked food.

Coffee shops are a plenty but the Willie tea rooms take you back in time with a lovely selection of cakes and scones . Tables have proper table clothes , the furniture styled as macintosh intended . Staff are dressed smartly and are caring and attentive . The tea rooms are not cheap but they are an experience and always worth a visit

Definitely had better afternoon tea elsewhere, not great value. Very busy and squashed and noisy. Stairs are not disability friendly. Feels a little impersonal.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review of our Tea Room at 97 Buchanan Street. Unfortunately at Buchanan Street we do not have a lift however our Tea Room within the Watt Brothers store in Sauchiehall Street has full lift access and the toilets are on the same level.
