I stayed at this hotel for one night due to the location being next to the Hydro as I was going to an event with my 2 young daughters.
We booked a suite which was on the first floor and had fab views to the Hydro from the bedroom and to the BBC building over the river from the sitting area. The suite was spotless and a really good size with a few added luxuries - bottled water in the fridge, chocolates, cookies, dressing gowns and slippers....and access to the executive lounge which gave free drinks in the evenings :-)
The reception area was beautifully decorated for Christmas and both check-in and check-out was quick and easy with no problems. Something other hotels in this price bracket could learn from. The staff I dealt with at reception, in the bar and restaurant and door staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and courteous.
We ate dinner in the hotel and then had breakfast included and the quality of food and service were faultless. My youngest daughter loved the children's menu.
The hotel has a large car park at a small charge which meant I could head home without having to get into Glasgow City Centre for public transport.
This is not my first stay at this hotel and I'm pleased to say the high standards have continued :-)More
