Checked into to two twin rooms but one was made up as a double...the hotel sorted it out. In the other room we found the previous occupants had left luggage in an alcove....the hotel sorted it out. We had drinks in the bar with vouchers for the inconvenience and were served by well trained, friendly staff followed by a loveley early evening Dinner again we were waited on by really good, friendly staff. The rooms are superb and we had a great breakfast. Special priase fro the Concierge/Doorman on duty the afternoon of 7/4/17 and morning of 8/4/17....he could not have been more helpful...a Gentleman and a credit to this great hotel, sorry I didn't get his name.

Stayed here for a very important board and it went very well. Events staff are excellent, friendly and efficient and the servers on the day were super, albeit struggling with the work load. The poor girls (2) were moving solid oak tables. I helped as I was conscious of the noise travelling on the wooden floor.
Food was very nice throughout the event and restaurant.
Room clean and spacious.
Front of door staff very friendly and helpful.
Our only concern was the lack of natural light in the lower ground meeting area which was made worse by dark wood walls, floor and furnishings.
Rooms were reasonably priced.
Good selection of tea and coffee.
Very comfy beds and selection of pillows to suit everyone.
All in all very good.

We came back to Glasgow to celebrate my 50th birthday and stayed the weekend at the hotel. The experience from beginning to end was perfect.
The staff are friendly attentive and always helpful. Our room was on the top floor and had everything we needed. The bathroom was huge with a massive bath. Bed was comfortable and room clean . Lots of mirrors and enough space.
Perfect!!M

I havent had a bad experience in the blythswood, from the welcome, the door man greeted us like he knew us. The room was amazing. We had dinner, it was our anniversary, which was amazing, the quality was fantastic. The waiting staff were so friendly and looked after us. Would recommend to everyone.

The building at the front of this hotel was the former Royal Scottish Automobile Club headquarters. Rooms in that building (numbering only about ten) face the Park and are spectacular. Service throughout is excellent, friendly and very helpful irrespective of which room you stay in. Highly recommended. An uphill climb from downtown, but on the otherhand, you can easily walk downhill to be in the thick of all activities around Buchanan Street, a short walk.

Room Tip: Less expensive rooms are online. All are in a nondescript building requiring the use of separate elevators and essentially have no views.
