Back in Grangemouth for the 2nd time this year, thought I'd re-visit the LeaPark Hotel for an evening meal (non-resident) and actually, much better this time round. The dining area was much busier this time of year, and it was well staffed to copy with extra demand, service prompt, and the meal was fine as a pub-style meal, and about the right price for the area. I had pulled pork with chicken, with sweet potato fries (nice to have a non-chip option) and it was really tasty, enjoyed it. Went back 2 evenings later and had the beef Sunday dinner, which was a bit less imaginative, but tender beef and tasty gravy, and did the job. Maybe someone with a bigger appetite might have been disappointed. Noticed the place has a dedicated Gin Menu which I didn't sample but will keep in mind for another time. So on the whole, not a mindblowing dining experience but find if you just want to get on with it. Staff could still be a bit more friendly but at least they are prompt and businesslike. I will risk a 3rd time next year and let you know.

Room was very spacious and reasonable well appointed.
However both mattresses were nearing the end of their lifetime, somewhat lumpy.

Room was at the back of hotel and suffered very badly from excessive noise from extractor fans.
I mentioned this to the Receptionist in morning after first night and she said she would have someone check it out.
Nothing done so I mentioned it 2nd morning again nothing done.
On checking out third day again mentioned it, no reply or an apology other than here`s your bill.
Breakfast was bit hit and miss nothing was really hot and some items quite cold.

Went for a family meal. Decent food (I can recommend the haggis fritters) for a reasonable price. Service was prompt and the portions were decent. Only complaint would be that the burger was slightly overcooked for our tastes. Good selection on the main menu

Stayed at this hotel for one night which was part of a coach trip to Edinburgh Tattoo. Very nice place good clean facilities, evening meal was good with a reasonable choice, the breakfast was the same but a buffet. I would use this hotel again if I was is this area again. It's also handy for the Falkirk wheel and the Kelpies.
