Had lunch here last weekend. I was surprised by how quiet the Orangery was. I had tasty soup with a cheese scone and husband had a baked potato with chilli and salad. Reasonably priced. Great gift selection inside and a super range of healthy plants outside.

Could smell the bacon from outside so made our choice easy. Plenty of bacon on a rustic roll, delicious and good coffees as well. Nice seating area and a good gift shop to browse in afterwards.

On a cold snowy day a retreat to the tearoom is essential . With a nice menu and specials on the board we soon found something to sustain us . The tearoom was quiet but I would put that down to the snow outside . It is a well located tearoom with windows all around to see out . The place is very clean and the toilets spotless . There is an excellent selection of gifts from the shop and the staff are friendly and helpful

Great place to visit if in the area or going to the Forth Bridges or Edinburgh Airport. Not a huge food selection but some good sandwich and stuffed spud choices as well as great pastries and cakes. Loved the Millionaire's Shortbread! Service was good (cafeteria style), plenty of tables but it does get busy. Nice atmosphere with all the glass. Lots of parking and a lovely garden center to brouse around
