Another super lunch at The Honours and how welcoming on a less than perfect day in beautiful Edinburgh.
As ever, the finest ingredients are used to produce such a variety of delicious dishes.
Knowledgeable and enthusiastic Staff will ensure a good experience whatever the weather! Do try it.

We expected far better. Service was rushed and impersonal. Wine mediocre. 3 out of our 4 dishes were good but 1 main was effectively 3 lumps of meat with some sauerkraut. Definitely not value for money. Stick to his main place in Leith which is one of the best meals we've ever eaten.

We visited here today for the first time, on arrival we received a warm welcome and was seated at a table that provided ample space for my husband who is in a wheelchair. The staff were very attentive, and service was excellent. To our delight the food was outstanding, perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and packed with flavour. We ate off the express lunch menu which was very reasonably priced, and a far better experience than eating at larger restaurant chains. We would highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return.

Good food with really good service. If I’m honest I was expecting to be blown away with it been one of Martin Wishart’s restaurants.

That said I really enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere was great.

Excellent food, good service, not too fast, not too slow, Cote de Beouf was to die for, amazing dessert, friendly and not overly solicitous staff. Highly recommended
