Absolutely wonderful day! We went for a walk well visiting family and would highly recommend it perhaps not with young children as it takes a while but absolutely fabulous views.

We were lucky enough for a bit of clear weather in the Easter weekend to make this worth it. 30mins up hill. Wore some good sneakers and puffer jacket as it got very windy at the top.
Can imagine once it's been raining that the path would get a bit muddy making it difficult but as long as you're prepared and take your time then the views are worth it

Try to go early in the morning so you can enjoy the summit in solitude. We went a little late in the day, but the views were fantastic!!!!

On those rare sunny days in Edinburgh this is a great activity! You can get to the top in about half an hour if you're really going for it, but to properly enjoy the views it's worth going a bit slower. Not many better sights than looking down on Edin from the top!

Definitely a must-see in Edinburgh!! The view was magnificent even before we got to the very top. I would definitely recommend.
